We are a non-political and charitable foundation incorporated through Information Service Corporation. It was given a Michif name in December 2011 from a Métis Knowledge Keeper meaning ‘We Are Helpers”.
Wiichihiwayshinawn Foundation Inc is a vision of three Métis women who wanted to promote positive ways to create change amongst the Métis Nation focusing on promoting achievements, empowering other Métis women and preserving culture and traditions.
